Most Important Stats of 2013

Question-Marks

Last month I posted some stats from the 2013 MLS season. Since then, I’ve done a little more work and I’m ready to talk what we can learn from this data. Specifically, I took a look to see which stats were most related to a player’s final total score. The idea was that by identifying the stats that contribute the most to a player’s score, I could find some promising bargains for the 2014 season.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Player Roundup – Wildcard Playoff

 soccer_banner

The playoffs are here and the times for the first games have now been announced. There are only 4 teams playing this week and you have unlimited transfers to prepare for this round. If you’ve built up a good team value, you should not have a problem picking all of the big names from each team, or maybe you want to stack your team with differentials. Regardless, Im going to breakdown the positions to help you decide.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Player Roundup – Week 36

Here we are, the final week. I’m sure I’ll make another post for this, but I’m going to go ahead and say thank you to everyone who has been visiting through this season. It’s been a wild ride and I’m really looking forwards to the playoffs. But enough of that, you came here for player recommendations.

The big question this week is who will actually play now that more teams know if they will be in the playoffs or not. I’m more concerned with the teams who are out than the ones who are in. NY, SKC< and POR, and RSL are fighting for the Supporter’s Shield, and several other teams are trying to place as high as they can to avoid the playoff entry game.

With this in mind, I tried to focus on the players who I think will come with everything they have this week.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Player Roundup – Week 35

 soccer_banner

Once again, this week’s games are going to start early so everyone needs to be sure to make their transfers before the October 16th deadline. I worked hard to get our picks out early this week to help with this.

The big X factor is when the WCQ players return, especially those who might play in the double game week. Some have left early but the only real advice I can give is to watch the injury reports. Fortunately, LA plays first and should post a roster before the deadline.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Player Roundup – Week 34

It’s a quick turnaround for picks this week. Combine that with all the injuries, cards, Byes, and WCQ call ups making picks can be very tough this week. A lot of teams are going to be stuck with 4+ players who will not have games so pick wisely if you are taking -4s.

I’m going to try to keep this one short this week, mostly so I can keep my sanity, so I’ll try to cover everything.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Midfielders & Forwards Roundup – Week 33

I waited as long as I could for the USMNT roster to be released, but it’s not happened yet. So be sure to keep your eye on Twitter or r/FantasyMLS so you can see who may or may not be available. That’s really the big issue right now, you can maneuver around injuries and the bye weeks in Week 34, but only if you know who’s available. That being said, I”m going to move onto my offensive picks for this week.

KFC’s MLS Fantasy Midfielders & Forwards Roundup – Week 31

The other day I posted my picks on the top Keepers and Defenders for this week. Now it’s time to cover the other half of the field. I’ve tried to focus on differential players as much as I can for this writeup. At this point of the fantasy season, that’s really your only hope of making gains on your competition (especially if you are in the top 200).
